On the authority of Abū Dharr Jundub ibn Junāda and Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Muʿādh ibn Jabal, may Allah be pleased with them both, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: Fear Allah wherever you are, follow a bad deed with a good deed that will wipe it out, and treat people with good character.
