Allah is pure and accepts only the pure

On the authority of Abū Hurayra, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah is pure and accepts only what is pure. Allah has commanded the believers with what He commanded the messengers, for the Exalted said: O messengers, eat of the pure things and do righteous deeds; and the Exalted said: O you who believe, eat of the pure things We have provided you. Then he mentioned a man who travels long, dishevelled and dusty, stretching his hands to the sky: O Lord! O Lord! while his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing is unlawful, and he has been nourished with the unlawful; so how could he be answered?
